Walter Terry Parrish Cert Ed, MCMI,
Walter has had 25 years experience within the Further Education sector, where he has managed a wide range of programme areas from Professional courses such as Chartered Institute of Marketing, Chartered Management Institute, Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, thorough to managing 14-19 provision across the college. He was a Director for 14-19 provision until his early retirement in Dec 2009. As a member of the senior management team Walter had an active role in securing the Outstanding OFSTED inspection grade and achieving Beacon Status for the College. In addition Walter was the college lead in forming the Learning South Leicestershire Partnership that successfully introduced Diploma lines across the partnership. Walter has worked as an associate for Edexcel for 15 years, delivering bespoke education and training as well as being part of the External Moderation team for BTEC Business. Walter is currently a Director at the Ice Academy, leading and developing Management training and education with a variety of organisations in India and the Middle East.

Satish Visavadia M.Ed. MCIM. AFAIM. FCMI
Satish is a successful educator with over 20 years of experience in teaching, training and leading educational programmes. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Australian Marketing Institute and an Associate Fellow with the Australian Management Institute and the Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute. Satish qualified as an engineer and later achieved a master’s degree in education from the University of Warwick, also a Post Graduate Certificate in Education from the University of Northampton. He has travelled and extensively worked in India and Middle East. Currently a Director at the Ice Academy and also teaches and leads numerous academic programmes.

Neeta Rajput is successful leader in business with a degree in Politics, also teaching qualification in the lifelong Learning Sector. She has many years experience in industry, managing and successfully delivering media courses and projects. She has been involved in directing and producing many television programmes and worked extensively in international markets. She has travelled and extensively worked in India and Middle East. She is currently a Director at the Ice Academy and a lecturer on numerous academic programmes.

Richard Allsop MBA, Dip.M, MCIM, Chartered Marketer
Richard is a business development adviser and an educator with a broad industrial and commercial background. He started his marketing career with the International Wool Secretariat in the 1970’s, working closely with textile and clothing manufacturers to develop the ‘Woolmark’ as a brand synonymous with quality of design and manufacture.

He was a senior consultant with De Montfort Universities’ small business consultancy division and formed the Strategic Business Partnership in 2001 with 2 colleagues from the DMU Quality Centre. Richard is currently part of the Ice Academy faculty, teaching business and marketing.

Judith Proctor is a successful educator and trainer with over 15 years of experience in teaching and training. With extensive experience in further and higher education areas including management studies, Accounts and Finance, Human Resources and Other business related subjects including marketing, production, economics and communication.

Kirit Visavadia developed his initial work in the retail industry and moved Onto the media business with Vis Productions producing videos and video commercials for corporate businesses and television markets on a part time basis. As part of this he has worked as a freelance cameraman with terrestrial broadcasters including Sky Television, BBC and Carlton Television over the years. Having gained a teaching qualification, he started teaching on video production and media courses at South Leicestershire College. With vast experience in Television and media production,Kirit has established his skill and knowledge in Television and media facilities, production and training over many years. Kirit is currently part of the Ice Academy faculty,teaching creative media production.

Harminder Rai is an enthusiastic and highly adaptable educator with experience and knowledge of the arts and advertising. He graduated with a degree in Film & Video and later completed his PDD (Professional Development Diploma) in Electronics, With his Post Graduate Certificate in Education at University of Northampton which he is undertaking, Harminder has vast experience in creative media production and is currently part of the Ice Academy faculty in teaching creative media and production.

Beverley Van-de-Velme

Beverley has many years experience teaching Media. Beverley has a journalistic background , and has also worked in advertising, and brings all these skills together to teach students on the HND in Media.

Martin Byrne
Business/Management Lecturer
Martin has worked at a corporate level within marketing for many years. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and has served on the regional Marketing Committee. Having taught on Marketing courses for 15 years in a local FE College Martin brings a wealth of expertise to his teaching.

Errol Hemans BA (hons), M Soc Sci, MBA,
Business/Management Lecturer
Errol Hemans BA (hons), M Soc Sci, MBA, Errol has 18 years extensive public and voluntary sector experience of addressing social disadvantage, community regeneration, engagement and safety: having worked for three large inner city local authorities and two national community regeneration partnership programmes. Alongside this he has been an independent management consultant for over fourteen years and has worked as a national Neighbourhood Renewal Advisor. His masters in social science enabled him to have developed and facilitated numerous social research projects, bespoke leadership and stakeholder training and consultation seminars. He has used his entrepreneurial and strategic management skills to help to shape and develop organisations as a non executive and board director. Errol as lectured, at University level on a MBA programme and for a Further Education College on the CMI Certificate and Diploma Awards. Errol is currently part of the Ice Academy faculty, teaching Business Studies.
