ICE Academy Admission Process aims to provide prospective ICE Academy Students a step by step guide to ensure a successful application, entry into the United Kingdom and a prosperous future

Step 1: ICE Academy Website

Prospective ICE Academy Students must visit the website - www.iceacademy.org

Step 2: ICE Academy Course

Prospective ICE Academy Students should select a course dependent upon entry requirements, qualifications, future career plans, and general interest. Please see ICE Academy Prospectus for further guidance on ICE Academy Course choices, requirements, description and duration.

Step 3: ICE Academy Application

Prospective ICE Academy Students can apply directly or use one of ICE Academy's approved representatives. Prospective ICE Academy Students must complete the downloadable ICE Academy Application Form together with all accompanying documents and either submit to ICE Academy representatives or post directly to ICE Academy.

Step 4: ICE Academy Interview

ICE Academy will interview all ICE Academy applicants after reviewing the application form. The interviews will be conducted via Skype or, where possible, face to face in student's home country. ICE Academy will ask a series of questions relating to, but not limited to, chosen course, finance, work, previous education and about Leicester.

Step 5: ICE Academy Conditional Offer

ICE Academy, upon receiving application and supporting documents, will thoroughly review all documentation to ensure entry criteria and eligibility for chosen course are fulfilled. ICE Academy will also assess the interview and use this as a basis to make the final decision. Successful ICE Academy Applicants will receive a Conditional Offer Letter via e-mail or post. ICE Academy Conditional Offer Letter will include, but is not limited to, conditions on fee payment.

ICE Academy Students must inform the College immediately, via e-mail, in writing or fax accepting or rejecting the offer.

Step 6: ICE Academy Pre-arrival Package

Prospective ICE Academy Students will also receive information on the unique ICE Academy Pre-arrival Package which includes Airport service, Bank Account service, assistance with Part-time employment, Medical care registration and a National Insurance number. To receive the ICE Academy Pre-arrival Package you must complete the application form and submit via post, e-mail or fax after receiving the ICE Academy Conditional Offer should you wish to accept the offer.

Step 7: ICE Academy Tuition Fees

Prospective ICE Academy Students, whom wish to accept the offer, must pay the sum requested on the ICE Academy Conditional Offer Letter (generally 100% of tuition fees). ICE Academy Tuition Fees are payable to ICE Academy by bank transfer, or bank draft. Please see ICE Academy Conditional Offer Letter for further guidance.

Step 8: ICE Academy Unconditional Offer Letter & CAS Number

ICE Academy, upon receiving full payment of tuition fees, will issue the ICE Academy Fees Receipt, the ICE Academy Unconditional Offer Letter and a 'Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies' (CAS) Number, which prospective ICE Academy Students must use for Student Visa applications.

Step 9: Visa Application

Prospective ICE Academy Students, to enter the United Kingdom, must attain a Points Based System Tier 4 (General) Students Visa from the British High Commission / British Embassy. Under the Points Based System prospective ICE Academy Students will require 40 points in order to be eligible to apply for a Student Visa. Please visit www.ukvisas.gov.uk for more information.

Step 10: ICE Academy Induction

ICE Academy Induction will be held one week prior to course commencement date. ICE Academy Students must attend and enrol at the ICE Academy Induction; failure to attend or enrol within 10 working days will be reported to the UK Border Agency.
