- Learners start in January 2012, the First year course dates are:
- 16th January 2012 to 13th December 2012.
Course Fees are :
- HND in Business £3375
- HND in Creative Media Production £3375
- HND in Hospitality Management £3375
- HND in Travel and Tourism Management £3375
The course fees are normally paid for by applying for a Student loan, from the Student Loan Company.
In 2011/12, you can get a loan to pay for all of your tuition fees: £3,375.
In 2011/12 the maximum loan for living costs is:
- £4,950 if you're living away from home
- £3,838 if you're living at your parents'/guardians' home
72% of this loan is given to anyone who qualifies, but how much of the remaining 28% you get depends on your household income.
Maintenance grant
You can also apply to Student Finance England for a maintenance grant of up to £2,906.
Grants don't have to be paid back but what you receive depends on your household income.
Grants are available for full time undergraduate, foundation and HND students,
Please note that if you receive a maintenance grant, your student loan for living costs will be reduced.
